The Prairie Pantry is a gourmet, gadgets, cookware and kitchen supply shop that has been a part of the Cheyenne community for over 21 years. We believe in the importance of family as we are a local, three-generation business. Dick Anthony had long dreamed of opening a kitchen store in Cheyenne. He made that dream a reality in 1997 when he opened The Prairie Pantry as a sister-business to Automatic Electric, with the help of his daughter-in-law Susan Anthony. We started small, but we have occupied three downtown Cheyenne locations to support our growth. Thanks to the community's support we are now in our largest facility yet and continue to expand our product offerings. 

Susan Anthony remains at the helm of the company and is passionate about providing high quality, customer services and products that you may not be able to find in other stores around Cheyenne. She is knowledgeable about the products and works tirelessly to ensure the employees can provide the high level of customer service expected - even when she is not there. The store's employees also demonstrate the commitment to family as three of the four employees are direct relatives. This enables us to work as a team to provide the best products and information as possible.
